Good app! Android is driving me crazy with changing the ringtone volume by default! Why would anyone care about that?! At least have an option to change it in the settings (as in iOS)...but that's not the point here. The app does exactly what it's supposed to do and I really like that. Unfortunately it only works as long as the app is opened in the background. If you close it, you are back to normal. So overall a really great app, with a minor 'bug' if you want to call it that.
Nice, but... not so nice with apps (Phone and Hangouts) that use the proximity sensor to automatically change the audio output (when listening to voicemail, for example) to either the speaker or headset depending on whether you are holding your phone in your hand or up to your ear. Causes all audio to play through the speaker and won't allow it to change back to headset when you move the phone back up to your ear. Android 6 on Nexus 5X. Bummer because it's an awesome tweak otherwise.
I'd give it more stars if I could This app is an essential for lolipop S5 users. When will they get the point and make this standard.. No one needs to control their vol for ringtone on the fly. Changing your media vol is what you need control of. That is exactly what this app does and is the only reason I'm still using this ATT s5. Great app. Also want to say... I will never buy an ATT branded phone for the rest of my life.
I just installed the app and it works great! Why in God's name would Android default the volume rocker to alarm volume control? Freaking clueless Idiots. At least give us the option to choose the default if you do ignorant things like that. Rocker Locker - Thank you for creating this app to fix Android's incompetence. I will edit this if I notice any battery drain issues.
Stock Android volume control sucks Thanks for this, hopefully I don't experience the battery drain issue. I hate hate hate trying to turn down the volume on some video, just to end up silencing my ringtone and then being BLASTED by media at full volume. Why is everyone saying "Lollipop"? I have this issue with Ice Cream Sandwich.
Nice idea and it works, but the battery drain is huge. I was using it at my Galaxy Alpha for a week and I could not have more than 2 hours screen-on time when this app was running. When I disabled it, everything came back to normal, so I can have about 4 to 4.30 hours screen-on time again. I like this app and it is exactly what I need, but the battery consumption made me uninstall it. I hope the developer in the future to solve this problem.
