Tonely helps you understand how your words may come across before you press send.

Using private, on-device AI, Tonely analyses the emotional intention behind text you actively type and offers short, thoughtful nudges to help you communicate more consciously. Whether you’re messaging friends, replying to colleagues or posting online, Tonely encourages reflection before sending.

Tonely works using a lightweight overlay that appears above your native Android keyboard. It does not replace your keyboard. Instead, it provides optional tone feedback while you type in supported apps.

Choose from four distinct response styles:

• Tonely – Formal and professional
• Mamma T – Supportive and warm
• Papa T – Direct and no-nonsense
• T – Honest and casual

Whether your message sounds encouraging, controlling, passive-aggressive, supportive or emotionally charged, Tonely provides real-time feedback to help you communicate with greater awareness.

Accessibility Permission Disclosure

Tonely uses Android AccessibilityService to detect text you are actively typing in supported apps so it can display real-time tone guidance through its overlay feature.

This permission is required for Tonely’s core functionality.

Tonely does not:
• Record calls
• Read passwords or payment details
• Change your device settings
• Send messages on your behalf
• Store your private conversations externally
• Sell your data
• Use your conversations for AI training

Tonely only analyses text locally on your device to provide tone reflection before you send a message.

Tonely runs entirely on-device.
