The Ionic batteries are amazing. 3 years with no issues. The app is not that good. It works on my phone, although I have had similar issues to others. According to the app I have version 2.0.3 but app store says latest is 25.something. They really need to add a few features. For example, an option to not show me the other 50 boats in the tournament. Ive had to search through 200 batteries to find mine scattered randomly on the list.

You need to have Bluetooth and GPS both turned on to find the batteries. Also need a password for renaming devices which they don't give you I had to search for it (it's 0000.) Overall the app is not beginner friendly and there should be more information that come with these batteries or the app. Once I struggled to figure all this out I connected my battery and renamed it and it seems to work fine now.

Latest version breaks the SOC display on the battery list. Otherwise, it works. I can view the status of my Ionic batteries. A lot of the one star reviews talk about being able to see but not able pair with the batteries over Bluetooth. That's not how these work, you don't pair your phone with the batteries. You just open the app and any batteries in range are displayed.
