Ratings and reviews

Hit and miss. Connects occasionally. Recently been trying to connect to diagnose a fault and it just fails. I know there is a fault, there is a light on. Never automatically finds the car's VIN, always have to go in manually. Could be so much better and why at each stage does it say establishing communication when it's already communicating.

It cleared my secure DTCs which saved me $$ and time towing car to dealer and paying them to clear them. However, it wasn't completely intuitive how to navigate within the app to figure out how to clear the codes. Once found, it was seconds to fix. But it took me over an hour to figure out where the setting was within the app.

With the Bluetooth module, this app opens up access to vehicle diagnostics that you once needed a $2k tool to access. It gives full access to the OE computer systems for dozens of makes. This allows you to see the state of many more systems than a generic OBD II reader. You can command modules on and off (to test operation) and even do full bidirectional tests. The app is slower than a dedicated scan tool, but for $60/year, wow. Just, wow. If you want a great budget scan tool this is it!!
