Thanks so much for a great solution I upgrade from a droid to a Samsung Galaxy S III today. The pre-install android apps on both phones cannot play the voicemail messages which are forwared automatically from my home phone as email attachments. But thankfully Remote Wave can! Without this I would never buy an Android based phone! Thanks so much for this product! I cannot beleive that Google has not addresss this with a fix in 5 years when Remote Wave has known how to process these wav files for the entire time! I bought the orginal version but the free version was fine on the new phone. I would happily pay for this as the $1.71 (USD) is a bargain for a product I will need to use for the next 3-4 years
FINALLY!! I have been desperately seeking Susan...just kidding. I have been scouring the net for months that would play wave file attachments in an email. Like so many others, my verizon voicemail is sent to me via email as a wave file attachment. This program plays the wave file right out of the email. There is no need to download the file and go look for it to play it. I would gladly pay this developer for this wonderful application. Thank you so much for making my life easy.
Thank you for this great app I could not listen to my voicemail sent to my email in a .wav file until I found this app. Now I don't have any problems listening to messages on both my Motorola Xoom & Razr Max. I even called Motorola Android support and they basicly said sorry, Android only supports the older version of wav files and not the newer version, mono wav. They said I would have to wait for the next Android update. Thank you so much for this app!!!
I'm happy. Just installed the free version on my old HTC Merge (sliding QWERTY keyboard) with Android 2.3.4, and it worked fine. I wanted the volume higher than the +25% showing, so I uninstalled the free version and hoped the paid version would allow volume control. Doesn’t seem to. But, I can listen to my MagicJack v-mails OK as an attachment in e-mail. Just what I needed. I don’t mind paying the developers $2 since it helps me, even if I would have thought the paid version may have more features. (Why have a volume “button” if it doesn’t do anything? Oh well, mysteries of the programming world.)
Well, WAS excellent. UPDATE: This app worked like a charm, now I can't find it. Redownloaded it - still won't open anything because it doesnt show up anywhere. Then I read I should download the pd version if I can't see the free version. Really?? I wouldn't mind paying, but some have said that the paid version doesn't work either. *** I also have magic jack and havent been able to find anything that could play the wav. files. This app fits the bill!! Awesome and excited!
Works great I down loaded this so I could listen to my email from work off our Exchange server. The native music player couldn't (said the file format wasn't supported .wav really?)and neither would winamp, but remote wave worked like a charm right away. If you're still having trouble u need to make sure remote wave is the default app for listening to those files. A quick Google search will provide lots of good info.
