Please note that the app requires data access and works best with GPS / location on. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. Background GPS is only used when you have a Get Off Alert turned on.

This app used to be so handy for public transportation. Then a couple months ago the map got way less responsive and the app freezes up after looking at the map for more than 30 seconds. Good thing that I recently got a motorcycle to travel around my city. Also, it sells your data and forces you to turn on location. Edit 2024: It seems like the bug has kinda been fixed? Definitely less prevalent than when I wrote the review, but not fully squashed.

I've been using this app ever since it was called Whiz many eons ago, and it's been great. I love that it shows you nearby routes and bus stops (which is great if you are somewhere you are unfamiliar with), you can save favorite bus stops, and everything is live-tracked so you can see in real time where your bus is, or even if it's delayed or still set to be on time. Great app.

Potentially good, but: 1) User cannot set the city to open in; apparently the map only works off of gps and I never allow location unless the actual function and purpose of the app require it - not the case here. The app _will_ allow the user to move around the map by swiping and when a city is located it does populate transportation routes. Gets old instantly. 2) The app responds glacialy at times, so slow its on the verge of being unusable. Maybe cuz of all the ads constantly dl'g.
