Code editor Only one I I found for android, and it works pretty well. A life saver, since my computer room gets very hot in the day
To Everyone All work you create in this editor is your own, you are free to license it as you wish. Touchqode does not claim rights to nor do they prelicense your code. The intellectual property clause in their license refers to making derivitives of of the Touchqode app itself. This means for example you cannot take the Touchqode source, tweak it, and redistribute it. The license refers to the edititor software only and not the code made by using the editor. I hope this cleared up alot for confused customers. Secondly, I use this app for mobile PHP development and it is great, all in all it is a nice editor.
Galaxy Tab 10.1 The ftp connection is quite unreliable... but the most unfriendly part about the app is simply moving around the script. Does not feel as nice as some simple notepads. The app seems to autoselect whole words. Can be quite annoying when editing... the color coding is fairly ok... otherwise its extremely time consuming to use...
Pretty Good, could use some ICS love I got a Transformer Prime and it looks and works great on it, just wish for some ICS options and if possible a way to disable the spellcheck with the asus keyboard with this app. So far so good.
Very unfriendly UI Does not feel like a code editor that you would find on PC. It doesn't even feel as nice to move around your document in as Windows Notepad or KDE Kwrite.
Makes editing impossible! The built in keyboard has good coding characters, but they're behind an Alt key, it doesn't swipe, and the keys are more thin than I'm used to on my HTC One. It is sometimes impossible to move the cursor to the end of the line. Add the "auto-select" whenever you type a letter or swipe a word (so each new letter or word erases the last), and this app is simply unusable.
Fixed license according to feedback
