Way better than stock keyboard. Have had SwiftKey since my Samsung Galaxy S4, I now have it on my S7 and my Tab A. I love that the buttons (specifically the "shift" options for punctuation and special characters) are on better places than the stock Samsung keyboard. SwiftKey also does a better job with predicting and auto-correction. I like the option to have a dedicated number row like a real keyboard AND to flip over to keypad view. I don't even use Swype or Flow but I guess those are nice for those who do.
This app's amazing!! Swipe between letters to get your message conveyed on screen and almost flawlessly it gets the job done. Every update they release brings new features which is something some developers don't do at all... Test this out and then come back here to like my commentary! 😀 Have a pleasant day typing fast!!
Definitely allows much faster typing, although the incidence of mistakes with spellcheck is still deserved or is own comedy show. My advice is to carefully read everything you type with SwiftKey. For example It constantly switches 'in' for 'on', there are other obvious words it misinterprets that the spelling algorithm really ought to pick up. If only on the basis of words it auto chooses just often don't make sense.
MONITORS YOUR KEYSTROKES It's ok, pretty good in some ways. But then today it says to me 'this is how many keystrokes you have saved. Would you like to review us?' There is no good reason to be monitoring my keystrokes. They have a dumb little area in the app that shows how many times you've used features and stuff. I don't care, I want to privately use a keyboard. Deleting now.
I always hated predictions before I got my new phone (Huawei P10 Lite) with this keyboard. Newer ever used this function on any other phone. You guys changed this. This keyboard can predict in all languages I use without a need of change anything at all. I mean it! It actually really can predict! Good program, developed by creative developers. Thank you!
There's a bug with the word I'm in English. If I'm flowing and I write I'm and then hit space or just try to flow to the next word like normal, it auto corrects the word to I. Which is really annoying. This used to work correctly, but hasn't for some time now. To actually write the word I have to flow or type it, then select it from the word suggestion bar
- SwiftKey now supports 12 new languages: Syriac, Gujlish, Neo-Aramaic (Turoyo & Sureth), Papiamento (Aruba & Curaçao), Cebuano, Joola-Fonyi, Mossi, Maranao, Sicilian, Waray
- Lots more fixes and improvements to keep SwiftKey running smoothly
