Review from A Google User
Best keyboard ever....! Yes it is the best keyboard , Love it, good looking too.♛ Dictionary and general predictions are really great. Recent update made it even better. Thank you for adding PUNJABI.Ten stars.
September 23, 2015Hi there. Thank you so much for your support!
This is the best keyboard app by far I've yet to find another that has the set of features found in SwiftKey. I've been using this app for years, and have left and come back several times. Its been continuously improved over time. The developers have a great pulse on what is important and of interest to their user base. I'd love to see a transparent keyboard. If you have a older phone, this app may not work well, but when you upgrade devices, give SwiftKey a try.
Look no further than this app... This app really learns how you message. Its predictions save you a lot of time spent typing. Words and phrases you use just pop up. Emojis you prefer are suggested. Flow writing very easy. Great keyboard selection. Had this app on my last phone and I didn't even shop around for comparison - I liked it that much!
A little worried I love this keyboard, I have been using since the days of the the Nexus 4. When you had to buy it. Then it went to free with in app purchases which is completely fine with me since it did not change the quality of the product. But now everything is free? What's the catch? Will we start seeing adds on the keyboard. Just worried my favorite app might go down a dark path.
Edit: Issue below has been fixed. Love this app! Best Keyboard I've ever used, especially now that the themes are free. Thanks! Love this app, but it say that ever since they added the Japanese text (which I downloaded), a good chunk of my text ends up running into one another when typing on the English keyboard. For example, when I type "Happy birthday," most of the time it will not automatically space between the two words, instead typing "Happybirthday." Before anyone asks, no, it does not show up in the auto correct bar as one word together when going to write. Thisis an inconsistent issue, so it does not always arise.
New transliteration and free themes!! I liked the recent update, I can write or swipe in 3 different languages viz: Hindi, Hinglish and English without even changing the language. Most of the time, the suggestions and predictions are accurate. One thing that bothers me after recent update is that, the keyboard is taking long time to predict a word after I swipe. Maybe because now the keyboard has to predict in all 3 languages in a go. Apart from this, I don't have any issues. Also now all the themes in SwiftKey store are free!
When I tap send message, app had to close, don't you think? Thanks for free themes, nice move. Emojis are still awful, you didn't change them two years.
UPDATE: We've made all themes completely free!
- Swipe the hamburger menu to the left of the predictions to find our newly refreshed Hub including: SwiftKey Clipboard, Shortcuts, and Incognito mode.
- Introducing transliteration for Hindi and Gujarati – now we’ll predict and correct from Latin characters into script
- Five new languages: Tibetan, Swiss German, Yakut, Low German (Plattdüütsch) & Kurdish (Kurmanji),
- Ongoing tweaks and improvements for a better typing experience
