About this app

Welcome to the beta program for Microsoft SwiftKey Keyboard - here you can test early performance updates, new unreleased features, customizations, and special themes. Thanks for helping us make Microsoft SwiftKey the best it can be!

The Microsoft SwiftKey beta app for Android will not replace the regular Microsoft SwiftKey app on your phone, but will be downloaded as a second app so you can switch between the two for comparison.

Beta Expectations

Features in the beta app are in active development and might not work perfectly or ever be released to the main Microsoft SwiftKey app.

How you can help make Microsoft SwiftKey better

As a beta tester, we rely on you to help us find bugs and give us feedback on new features. To give us feedback or report any bugs, head on over to our Support Forums - We have a group of moderators and SwiftKey staff members that are actively looking and responding to feedback.

The fact that my mother tongue (which is spoken by 20-25 million people in the world) isn't supported in the translation feature was a deal-breaker for me. It's a language you can find on Google Translate. Other than this, I love the app! Some suggestions for improvement: - More customization options for keyboard design and placement. The current UI is a tad clunky. -Allow users to adjust the font on the keyboard and predicted words. It's a tad large for me.

Terrible prediction function. This needs a major overhaul as I type the individual letters to spell something out, and if still auto corrected to another weird that had entirely nothing at all twisted to the wires I waged. Case in point, that entire last sentence. Also, The cursor never goes where I tap. Middle of the weird(keeps autocorrecting word), nah, going to end of the weird (again in it swiping word but directed to eyes.)if this is hard to read, that because this keyboard app is trash.

I've used the beta version for years. It's time to lose whatever is beta and go back to the drawing board. I've uninstalled and reinstalled apps to get to the bottom of it, but finally I uninstalled both the standard and beta versions hoping to fix the problem. It jumps from line to line, word to word, top to bottom when trying to make edits (especially in Facebook) to the point of aggravation. Nothing worked. At the moment, it's a nightmare.
