My son has done nothing but shriek with laughter since getting his hank. I wake up in the morning to a good morning momma message and I love the nighttime mode. The waves are so relaxing. It's a bit rough to initially figure out and wish the directions were more in depth. Will recommend to friends.

So far no problems, my girls like it. I'm happy to hear them any time.
This toy and app are crap! It is way too easy to send messages to the wrong person, it takes a while for messages to be downloaded and there is no indication that a new message has been received unless you happen to be playing with the toy at the moment it was received. The toy beeps at times and it is not apparent as to why. Something is happening, but we have to read the FAQ to figure out what. I don't want to have to read a manual to play with a toy. We got this to keep in touch with distant relatives, but it has caused nothing but headache. Constant calls asking "did you get my message?" And "why hasn't she responded?" Cute concept, poor execution.
I could never hook up to the toy. $60 for nothing. What a waste.

Awesome my daughter has been sending me messages since she got it. Took a while to set it up. Make sure you are running your phone or tablet on 2.4 and not 5.
Looking forward to getting it delivered. My hubby is deployed and thought this would be amazing to have so our 4 year old son can talk back and forth with his dad in a fun way.
Have spent days trying to make this toy work. Still no success.

Our engineers were making some updates to our system this morning as part of some regularly scheduled maintenance. We apologize for any inconvenience. We have finished all updates and you should see your app service fully restored. If you are still having difficulties please log out and back in. Truck driver here. Daughter is 5 and it's nice we can send little messages to eachother throughout the day.
Great at first Crashed day 3... redid it all and now all of a sudden my info is gone and a stranger mom & dad are his only contacts :/ seems to be more of a hassle than anything. For something like this to be fun and useful it must work all the time, otherwise the kids forget about it and lose interest as the the grownups attempting to communicate.

Hi Laura, it sounds like your toy is in demo mode. To leave demo mode, hold down the cloud button on the toy for about 20 seconds, until you hear a chime. Please reach out to us at team@toymailco.com if you have any questions. Good for anyone who doesn't know how to receive email I got this to give to my mom because she can't figure out how to use the Internet and never answers her phone. Now I can send her a voice message and all she needs to do is press the button. It's been very difficult to set up but it's worth the effort
An amazing device and app There is something amazing about making it so easy for kids to communicate with each other and the adults in their lives. For the first 48 hours after getting their ToyMail stuffies, neither of my children spoke to each other any other way.
Was great for a couple of days and then all of the sudden, stopped working after the app update. Toy is blinking both red AND green. Tried re-pairing toy with WiFi, no success. Emailed company, waiting to hear back.
So much fun for my very young grandchildren to be able to stay in touch with their grandparents, aunts and uncles who are spread out all over the country! Great idea, and excellent support team to help with set up or questions!
Runs extremely slows and stutters alot! Sure would be nice if there was any technology out there that was worth anything! It is nothing but a stress creator!!!
I bought it for my granddaughter who's one that lives out of state. Fun to hear her voice as she begins to developer her sounds and words.
Best thing ever! My 8 year old lives states away. This was the perfect gift to be able to talk to eachother whenever we want!

Adorable toy This is the cutest gift I bought for my 2 year old son. he loves that he can get messages from me and his dad while we are away. it was very easy to set up and the app is very easy to navigate through too. it took about a day to figure out how to work the buttons. but now it is a breeze . the talkie makes cute laughing and noises when my son shakes him. It also makes a cute sleeping sound when not play with. I noticed the app will notify you when my son is playing with it so I can send him a message
