The Toyota app makes it easy to manage your vehicle anytime, anywhere. Designed for convenience and peace of mind, the app lets you stay connected to your Toyota like never before.

Connected Services Key Features (1):
Remote Connect (4) – Start or stop your engine, and lock or unlock your doors, check fuel level and locate your vehicle with last parked location

Service Connect – Connect directly with your preferred dealer and keep track of your vehicle’s health

Drive Connect – Map your route using Cloud navigation, Live agent support via Destination Assist and Voice commands like, “Hey Toyota. Take me home” will help you get where you want to be

Safety Connect - 24/7 assistance button in the app or the SOS button inside your Toyota vehicle allows you to connect with Roadside Assistance
Owner Resources – Access your vehicle’s owner’s manual directly through your phone

Log in or create an account and enroll in your included trials (3) to explore the Connected Services (1) available on select Toyota models (2).

Companion Wear OS App provides convenient way to operate Remote Services(1)(2)(3).

(1) Toyota Connected Services vary by vehicle and are subject to change at any time without notice. Services depend on compatible wireless network providers, a cellular connection and GPS signal. Without anyone or more of these things, operability may be limited or precluded, including access to response center and emergency support. Further, if and when the compatible wireless network changes or is discontinued, or the underlying technology required to support service becomes obsolete, then the Connected Services will not work, and Toyota will need to discontinue impacted services. Not great at all. It worked for 2 days after I got my new car... now when I try to open the app, all it says is DOWN TIME.... and that there are technical issues. For at least 2 weeks it has been like this. Even though it will still let me know when doors are unlocked, I tap the push notification and can't open the app from there either. I still own a Hyundai and its app works flawlessly and I've never paid a dime for it. Crazy, huh???

I have enjoyed the app immensely the past year with my free subscription. Now I have to pay a monthly fee to continue. I literally only want the remote subscription, but they force you to combine it with either a navigation app or a music lovers app, both of which you don't need if you use Android Auto or Apple to connect to your vehicle. There should be an option for only the remote, be realistic with your consumers needs, this isn't an inexpensive service you are providing. Do better.

The app itself works pretty well, though I still get some notifications I turned off. So why the 2 stars? My free trial of Remote Connect ended. I'll pay for it, it's convenient. But I can't. I HAVE TO pay twice as much for a bundle of Remote Connect and something else I don't want. So instead of Toyota getting me to pay 100 bucks a year for something I actually want, I'm going to buy a 30 dollar airtag and just live without the other features. Dumb.
