My options have been reduced more since first getting my Mk5. In reply to Toyota Motor Europe (TME). I have reported this through the App. Even though I have a MK5 Excel with full service, I can not see the fuel or range on the APP. You don't get other options like remote start (this may be for PHEV). I've had no notification like recalls for CanBus and Tracker. If the issues with the App that the car has missed any software updates why wasn't any notifications sent?

Potential to be really useful but it's pretty clunky. I like using the app to check the mpg of my journeys but unfortunately it's doesn't work consistently. On longer journeys (>90 mins) it tends to stop recording mid trip and just draws a straight line to my destination. The reported time, distance and mpg are all wrong but it knows where I ended up. Reported a couple of times through the app but got no response

Mixed Feelings - Good promises, glitches in execution. The app per se would be full of promises: looking into travelconsumption and actual position of the car, the best is ability to check doors and close car remotely . Super! End of nice news. The issues: map only for car location, you should send the destination from mobile to the car nav ... impossible. Consumption data ok, cannot download or look details on PC. Could do more for navigation, control car media/radio and play with travel data
