Since the update on September 18th, the app will close itself immediately. I get an error on my phone saying the app has a bug and to update it as soon as one becomes available, but there is not one as of yet. This is my first experience with Straight Talk. Until this issue, I had had no problems, but I have only had this new phone and Straight Talk account for about one month. I really hope and update to fix the bug happens soon.

Overall works fine, but it did glitch and cut off my remaining balance for three days once before it began my new plan. So watch out, I'm not sure what caused it. You also can't view your hotspot data in the app itself; you have to chat with support and get an authentication code to access it, which, considering the app displays your remaining plan data as a whole right on the front page, makes no sense. No, contacting you won't work, that's how I found out the issue existed in the first place.

I've been a Straight Talk customer for about a decade, and have seen both the smooth ride and the bumps in the road. Frustrating at times, but overall a positive experience with the company. The app, however, continues to disappoint. With the latest update, the fingerprint login is broken, and trying to log in with my password still generates a failed attempt, meaning I have to do everything on the website. Uninstalled/reinstalled, still no use. What's the point of an app if you can't use it?
