On any racing vehicle such as, go-kart, mini-bike, pit bike, MiniGP, motorcycle or car racing, Racetime is able to record lap time, maximum speed, and sector time. In the pits, you can track the record of your runs, see your race pace, the fastest lap, the difference in the times of lap by lap and the sector by sector.
Racetime is able to display, during the lap time, the most useful informations for the driver just with a quick look at your smartphone: the position on the track, the fastest time of the run, the time of the last lap, the time of the previous lap and the speed.
The strength of this app is the unique feature that is able to maintain a direct link with the pilot. This site allows users of this app to communicate directly with the developers and most importantly to submit new circuits! On the section named “Circuits” it is possible to see which track, in the world, can be downloaded from Racetime. If your circuit is not present, do not worry! Report your track in the official site www.racetimeapp.com and we will be able to promptly add your specific track in RaceTime circuits.
With RaceTime PRO you can analize your run from your PC or tablet or share it on Facebook.
Buying a GPS chrono can be quite expensive, especially in a motor-sport hobby. However, this app allows to take advantage of the GPS and the technology available on modern smartphones using it as a chronometer. Think about how much money you can save... an average mobile phone with built-in GPS costs much less than a chronometer GPS!
This is Racetime, get it now!

V2.0 Introducing the new feature of concurrent access by multiple Android devices and PCs
The evolution of TimingBeam continues and we have just raised the competitive bar to a new level.
With this unparalleled feature that enables a DCD TimeR to talk to multiple Android devices and PCs simultaneously, all drivers at the race track will be able to monitor their lap times and performances closely with their own Android devices. Moreover, as this feature is LapR-compatible, team managers, race control and spectators are also able to follow the race closely through their PCs running the DCD LapR software.
Seeing is believing. Here is a video that demonstrates how.
V1.1 New “lap-time splitting” feature introduced
Did you ever get frustrated because DCD TimeR fails to capture your lap time as your car pass through the finishing line? It is particularly annoying if you have just put in your best effort and you think you should have broken the lap record! Such situation happens when, for example, the line-of-sight is blocked by another car which prevents DCD TimeR from detecting the IR signal emitted by your transponder.
By leveraging the motion and audio sensors of your android device in an innovative way, we introduced this new “lap-time splitting” feature which enables you to notify TimingBeam about such miss-counting event so that TimingBeam will properly split the lap times the next time when DCD TimeR is able to pick up the IR signal from your transponder again. Of course, as both of your hands are busy with throttling and steering, you won’t be able to trigger such notification with them. Instead, you just need to hop lightly with, or speak directly to, your device to do so (a hands-free headset is recommended if you prefer the latter and, if you are using a bluetooth headset, A2DP profile support is required). What’s more, to avoid any triggering by mistake, you may also fine-tune the sensitivity and timing parameters to suit your preference.
WARNING: THIS APP IS ONLY USEFUL TO THOSE WHO HAVE ACCESS TO A DCD TimeR RC Lap Timing System. DO NOT BUY THIS APP IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO SUCH A SYSTEM.
