I bought this to keep up with an elderly parent. Upon my cursory testing it seems just okay. it does get the location fairly close. I want to save as much battery life as possible so I only want to be able to track it on command. every time something bumps the darn thing. it sends me a notification and email in my phone. I don't want notifications every time it moves but I can't for the life of me figure out how to turn that off. if I can get this figured out i can bump up the star rating

Update: Today, i tried to charge it & it won't charge up at all! I have the original device as well as the extra battery/battery case. I bought this April 2024. Why is it not charging?! It seems to have slowly died. Love this for the most part, though over time, my notifications are lagging. When I started months ago, it told me as soon as the car left the driveway, now it doesn't tell me until 5 minutes after the car is gone! I've updated it, re-downloaded, cleared cache, and nothing helped.

I really think I'm about done with this subscription... Some things just don't make sense. For example, the device was powered off at 88% a few days ago. I turned it back on this morning, and it said it was at 87%. Now it is saying that I actually powered it off this morning........ok, then how exactly is it supposed to be powered on? Because generally speaking, when something is powered off, you would press the power button to power it on. Not sure how it went from powered off to powdered off.
