Poorly designed app with unintuitive UI. Maps are cached, but zero control/transparency over what exactly or how long is kept- I'd rather pick which maps to download myself. Home screen is cluttered with numerous menus, updates and "social" nonsense instead of just showing map view. At least have a "location" button at the top level to go straight to my location on a map. All trail stats except distance are buried and require clicking/scrolling to get at- show them in the pop-up like distance!

Updated reply: There's no download tool because maps are automatically downloaded when you load a community. Adding a download tool would be duplicative. Previous reply: Thanks for your feedback. There's a "locate" button on every map you can use to zoom to your current location. Please reach out for support: visitors+android@outerspatial.com.

This app has SO much trail information in it and also has paper maps available to view in app!! I will say one thing the app developer could work to improve is the image quality of the paper maps that are available. Also would LOVE if yall added POTA/SOTA as an activity for us Amature Radio Operators as this would be VERY useful to us as a tool!! Hope to see this app grow!!!

Glad you're enjoying the app, and thanks for the feedback! We are in the process of upgrading our paper map pipeline, which will improve the resolution of paper maps in the app. As for POTA/SOTA, we'll add them to the next batch of activity type updates, so they should be available in the app soon as well.

It's very buggy if you use the android version. Challenges don't show up under the Challenge tab, so one must go back to the main page to find the challenge OR ignore that section and wait to use the check-in feature once you have arrived. Even then, nothing is listed where it is supposed to be as it does when using the iOS. Will continue to use this in order to complete the metropark challenge, but there are much better apps for android users.
