The American Standard® Home app allows you to optimize the comfort and efficiency of your home by connecting directly to your American Standard smart thermostat.

Tech Support is good. The app did not work immediately after I installed it. I had to call the support line. That caused me to have to de-register and re-register my thermostat. After a few hoops, the app recognized the thermostat. After the tech was off the phone, I tried to turn off the Allergy filter and set the filter to Auto. It did not work. I have mixed ideas about the app. I don't mind going to the thermostat to make changes. I think the folks at American Standard need to troubleshoot this app more extensively as it appears to be somewhat fluky... I gave it so many stars because they want to do a good thing and they added some whistles and bells. Like all things, time wounds all heals....

Works cleanly, and straight forward to use. Scheduling is tricky to use and could (should) be simplified; but once you get the hang of it, it works well. I haven't found a way to reset air filter timers via the app, so I still use the thermostat for that. Otherwise, I can use the app to control and adjust all the settings I need to access.

When it was the Nexia App, it worked without problems. Was forced to convert to AS Home Standard App. This constantly drops the network and cant recover. Its 10 feet from the wireless access point. Fix your app its terrible. Makes me want to change thermostats to have something I can trust as reliable for an app. This shouldnt be hard or too much to ask for reliability. Its a thermostat not an Xbox. You should be ashamed. Only way it could get worse is to be spyware and not work.
