I have to agree. I can see the route which is pretty much what I can get from the local website. The rest of the time it's been searching for its location which would not be hard considering I'm standing outside. It selects a bus I would never ever ride and can't seem to switch to the one I want. Even when I save it as a favorite it pops up when I did not select. It's happened it's a lot of work before it's golden and I hope they get it going because it looks okay and perhaps even useful someday.
Trans loc (no rider) Trans loc was better. The one with the green icon. I was able to assist my passengers more effectively. I was even able to use it for myself on lunch break. This trans loc rider has no prediction on arrival time. It's just not user friendly
Horrible I take one route ever. Starting the app takes forever. Defaults to a stop I'm not at. Every time I start the app it uses like 100mb of data. No problems with accuracy, just way to slow and clunky. Could be optimized. Edit: uninstalled the app. I left it on my phone w.o using it thinking itd be useful when I really need it. POS managed to use 1.8gigs somehow. Smh
Downside of a Monopoly In cities like New York and Orlando, Google Maps will tell you which bus to take, when, to get to your destination, and even when to leave the house. Not in Tallahassee. Our StarMetro system uses TransLoc Rider, and MAN, is it bad. I live in the middle of town, close to several major bus routes...but when I try to use the new "Trip Planner" feature that TLR made such a big deal about, it suggested that I walk to one possible destination and take an Uber to another; neither suggested a bus at all. Awful.
Never works You can restart the app as many times as you want, but nothing ever loads. Get the other app they have, it works much better.
Only shows one direction? Last year this app would display stops for both the clockwise and counterclockwise routes. Now it only displays one, which makes it difficult for timing my trip back home. Please fix this.
