Keep track where your Euro note have been before and for what they have been used.
The idea behind travellingeuro is quite simple. If you live of have been visiting any of the countries that use the Euro, you probably have noticed the coins that you have in your pockets often come from another country. The same happens with the Euro notes, but it is not so easily noticeable. Euro notes' serial numbers start with a letter denoting which National Central Bank issued them or, in some cases, in which country that bill has been printed if not the same as the issuer. Apart from that, it is not possible to determine the note's origin by simply looking at it. If being in Italy, for instance, we use a bill printed in the Netherlands we can have a good idea of the journey that bill has made. But, where else has it been?, what have people purchased with it? how did it make to Italy -by plane, car etc....? this is the kind of question that we have posed and pretend to answer with this humble project.
