I have an existing account with HomeAway and can access it without difficulty through my laptop. I've downloaded the app to my iPad and it works a treat, too. I downloaded the app to my android mobile I cannot log in using my email address and password previously created for my account. It only lets me log in using my Google account details. When I log in, it doesn't have any of my booking details. Reported it to support. They replied promptly (to their credit) but told me that the app doesn't work in Australia. That is not correct! The app works on my iPad and old iPhone. It also worked on my previous Android. Very disappointing. If it doesn't work for Australia thru should day do in the description of the app. I suspect they don't know why. Great app on the iPad though! And on the browser
I have no idea if the app is any good because it won't let me login. I reported this issue two months ago, no result, and same bug affects my new phone also. I even changed passwords but no improvement. Fine via web browser but useless in app.
Everytime I use the search function, it always gives me the connection error report. Whether I use mobile data or WiFi, the error's still the same. Fix it if you want me to rate ☆5 for this app.
Always go back to main menu during searching. No review from previous guest, hard to justify. The filter should include the Ares.
Flakey app with poor search facilities that always lose your preferences and lacking the map function which works so well on the website. Avoid this and use the website, preferably on the computer.
