OCD is a common psychiatric disorder that involves repetitive, unwanted thoughts and compulsive behaviors intended to reduce the anxiety caused by those thoughts. Commonly misunderstood as an annoying personality quirk, OCD usually involves intense distress and can become completely debilitating.

NOCD live video therapy has been shown to be as effective as face-to-face therapy. Our model is research-backed by a Columbia University Medical Center study, which found a reduction in OCD severity by an average of 40% in 8 weeks.

NOCD therapists include licensed counselors, psychologists, and social workers, and they all are trained in exposure and response prevention, or ERP, the most effective OCD treatment. All NOCD therapists are managed by our clinical leadership team, who have 20+ years experience treating OCD and have designed some of the world’s top OCD treatment programs.

Our services are powered by AWS and Aptible, both of which are SOC2 and HIPAA compliant. Your therapy data is stored in the AdvancedMD EHR that also complies with SOC2 and HIPAA requirements. All medical notes and records are restricted to you and your clinician. Furthermore, in addition to internal privacy safeguards, we regularly enlist security researchers to assess our services for vulnerabilities. For more information, find our complete
Privacy Policy at, and Terms of use at

NOCD, Inc. is not a treatment company, and the NOCD app is not intended as a standalone treatment. Although this app is developed with clinicians to closely resemble established treatment protocols, it is intended to be used in conjunction with a therapist or another medical provider.

I really like the whole concept of this app, but you need infographic style videos to explain the concepts and such more. The way it is is way too confusing for someone starting out as much as it is for someone whose experienced with this. Hope to see that change so the app is more user friendly for therapies.

I haven't seen any ads tbh! This is the only OCD support I've partaken in because it's easy to use and actually helpful. I'm even considering the therapy option, even though they don't accept my insurance so I am staying with my current therapist as of the moment. They are very welcoming, understanding, affordable, and educational! Definitely the best decision I've ever made for my mental health! TLDR; it is easy to use, peaceful, and actually helpful!

This app is an AMAZING tool for people with OCD. It's been incredibly comforting/encouraging to find a community of people who understand what I'm going through when I have been made to feel like a "crazy person" when sharing with peers. There's a place for when you're having a severe episode to help calm your nerves. There's also great therapy exercises you can tailor to your own symptoms & track progress. Awesome app to have in your arsenal!

Update: Erica, thanks for reporting the issue. We've pinpointed the cause and are working on a fix right now. Would you mind emailing me at so I can followup? Thanks - Ray @ NOCD
