This is only the beginning I saw your documentary and it really hit my heartstrings. I am a coder and I have always believed that programming is very available and exciting to most people even though programmers are such a scarcity. Programming as a career choice for the homeless is fantastic as the initial financial outlay doesn't have to be expensive and the knowledge is freely available. Good luck on your journey and never ever give up! So many people need you today and then in the future.
Nice App My commute is from my bedroom to my home office. I don't commute at all; however, I did want to share my support. Well done on the app. It is fluid, and it doesn't make me want to close out the app and forget that I bought it. Even though i do not commute, your app is well worth the 99 cents. I hope to hear more about you, as well as experience your next app. 5 stars to you good sir!
Leo Grandn Inspires Leo's story inspires me. This is the first app that I paid for and I'm sure there is no other app that makes us feel proud to buy. I want to see more Green apps from Leo. Also my thanks to Patrick McConlogue for making this happen. BTW, Leo is so kind, he has already registered everyone's email addresses before they even got this app. Now we don't even need to sign up nor login and if we try to, the next screen politely tells us "This email address is already registered" :)
Token of support Let's face it this app doesn't work. I paid for it because of the story behind it. Great to hear how a person in poverty was given the opportunity to learn skills to get themselves off the streets. In reality if it wasn't for the story I would give it 1 star and demand a refund. What the developer needs to do is learn about the aspect of software engineering called maintenance and fix it. Once it works I will give 5 stars.
Very Inspirational Good job Leo. You just showed a lot of people including me that you can do anything you set your mind to. Just do your homework man and you'll do fine. We all start really low at some point in our lives but it's up to you if you want to keep moving up. Good things happen to good people. Don't let anybody put you down in anyway. Use can't as strength and show them you can. Keep pushing bro...
Neat Slight initialization bug, where it thought my email was already registered. But now it's working alright. I'm in Canada, not a whole lot of rides where I am. May I recommend the following UI suggestions: Phone number can have type=tel Also, need AndroidManifest update to push the view so the keyboard doesn't block the form. But, these are all Android-specific stuff. It's a tricky platform, because of all the different screen types. I'd be happy to provide logs regarding my usage.
