**review updated** The Garmin Connect sync is working now! Woo! It is still buggy though. When I go to "bike garage" it just pulls up a blank screen. The challenges look awesome, especially the May 4th Star Wars one - it is super cool to have physical prizes to the challenges.

Thanks for reaching out! No need to double record: activities from your Garmin device (watch or head unit) will show up in Ride Club with the Garmin Connect integration. I like the idea of this app, but it doesn't work well for me. 1st ride: distance by my watch = 31 miles; distance on my ride-buddies app = 31 miles; distance on this app = 27 miles at an ave speed of 59.7 miles per hour (I don't think so!). The app recorded my 2.5 hour ride as 27 minutes. In addition to fixing that, suggest marking challenges in "discover" that are already in "active". Also add challenge-type filter in "discover".

Thanks for your feedback! We're tweaking the challenge discover behavior in a future update to help you find new challenges, and we've got some ride data fixes in the works as well!

Requires location access always and not just during rides or when using the app. Requires sharing of data of too much data. wanted to try it and record at least one ride for the contest but I couldn't due to the permissions. update: thanks for the response. I get location access is for tracking rides but it should function with location options like "only when using the app" etc. I don't need/want it tracking me 100% the time (also affecting battery / privacy)
