Pretty good This game is a great immersive cyberpunk type RPG, but a few notable flaws prevent me from giving 5*. I originally played the free version, but paid for this to unlock the extra content/ characters. When I tried to play the char I wanted I was told I'd have to pay more money! App devs deserve to get paid but don't be greedy! Also pop up ad for other Corey Trese games. Fine in a free version, but unacceptable in a paid one. And finally hacking system is broken. Other than that it's great!
〰〰〰🌟 A MATAEUS REVIEW 🌟〰〰〰 The game builds to an exciting, atmospheric and often tense experience that sucks you into it's world of espionage, clandestine operations, system hacking and back-alley gun fights. The experience opens up into a world of opportunity, where balancing the respect of the citizens, gangs and law is as satisfying and deep as anything seen since Fallout 2. Whether hacking, fighting or simply delivering information from one map to another, after an unreal 250+ updates, there's simply nothing else like it!
Nostalgia strikes So... i was born in 1987, when video games were young, but ever growing. When we got a sega genesis, there was a lovely game, based off of a tabletop game. This game was called shadowrun. There was also another shadowrun for snes, but that isnt the one of interest. You would go from location to location, picking up "runs"(jobs essentialy) this included entering the matrix and hacking, package running, kill jobs, and many similar jobs to this game. This is a turn based, updated, no magic, genesis shadowrun.
A lot of fun This game is really really cool. There are some minor bugs, like missions spawning during the opening of the campaign that you cannot get to, but otherwise I loved the system/campaign a lot. Would love to see some more in-depth interaction with the corps/world beyond the campaign, or even an extension of the campaign (see the growth of the girl/interact with her more). Really a lot of fun!!!
Another Trese success Content packed, non exploitative financial model. Only downside is the game play is a bit tedious and grindy.
Truly a great experience I played through the story in the free version and then bought elite when I went topside to bring my character over. I would like to say the developers are amazing, they listen to and address each and every issue or bug and if necessary will patch it very quickly. I'm very impressed by this. The game itself has numerous features and things to do, endless replay value, and a very rewarding progression system.
