Tripod has been a lifesaver for me whether I'm planning a business trip or a highly involved family vacation. Being able to find everything in one place and having it automatically filled in, saves quite a lot of precious time. This even provides addresses, phone numbers, directions, and tips. It's everything I need! I've been a user for four years, and swear by it.
I have been using Blackberry Travel and after switching to an Android device and using Tripit I can't believe how so yesterday and sloth this application is. As a Concur user I can't for some reason subscribe to the pro version - how great for business this is. Why do I have to take a step-backward in 2018? 1 star for a pretty interface. I will be uninstalling and managing my travel affairs with my brain that will do a better job than this trash.
Using GalaxyS5 with the latest update I cant see all of my booking info, even if i try clicking on details to increase view. (I have screenshots i can provide for developers assistance ). I can see everything perfectly on my GalaxyNote3 using an older version of the app. I wont be updating app on Note3 because its better than the latest version of the app on the S5 If developers can fix so i have the ability to see all my booking info eg cancellation policies etc that would be great. Would also be great if app could show the amount paid in local currency and/with the amount paid from your home country. EG: paid $100USD local currency (or $130AUD home currency) Paid £100 British pounds Or $200AUD Paid €100 Euros Or $180AUD
Completely unusable on an android 6 device after latest upgrade. So cool used this app to be, and I really loved it till now. And my company pays for this. LATER EDIT: changing back my review. So whenever I have blank screen on my Android 6 device the solution for me is to go to apps menu and clear all cache and data and also force stop (last step not always needed). Now I can access back all the cool features that this app offers!
Update bought the pd. Version Like but need to add area for travel insurance. Still liking it. 😀 Still on the free version. Like so many have commented a little to pricey but may reconsider later. Used it on last flight. Very Very handy. You really need this app if you travel. No problems on my Moto G phone.
Great app. The subscription is a bit pricey if you don't travel often (although the functionality that is free is more often than not sufficient for the casual traveller), but absolutely worth it if you're a frequent traveller. With WorldMate gone, TripIt is now alone in a class of its own.
