About this app

Breeze Rider app is designed to help new and current SCAT riders navigate Sarasota County Area Transit’s bus system. Users can browse route maps and schedules, or select the “Plan a Trip” feature to generate information for a specific starting and ending destination. The app tracks buses on the map in real time and provides estimated arrival times. Users may opt to receive notifications about service changes, route delays and detours, and other time-sensitive announcements. Additional information about SCAT programs and services is also available through the app.

Reasoning for the high rating is my gratitude for low cost alternative transportation. But many times I cannot book a ride. When I can book, it's probable you'll share a ride with other people, so plan for a bit of extra time. Drivers are the best available, not even comparable to other services. As for the company, they have some issues. The program needs work. The travel zones are bizarre, and unrealistic. Get on board with the villages in banned zones, and HIRE MORE PEOPLE for the love of God

Rating edit: Credit where credit is due. They finally seen to have figured out how to accurately track the location of the running trollies. I still find the interface somewhat clunky and non-intuitive.

no every bus is showing up in the app. already missed a few because of the incorrect apparence of them. hope this is getting fixed soon. otherwise a good app
