Review from Larry Cameron
I find it one of the best apps for email on your phone because it is so controllable I wish I t was available for my PC.
The feature set is excellent, though I have a nagging suspicion that either this or Apple Mail wiped my yahoo account after setting the sync limit to 3 months. Also the search button is annoyingly tucked away in a menu, when there is easily enough room on the top bar. Otherwise perfect. The ability to give an email a task time and snooze it is awesome and much better than stars. Though they could be more obvious and easier to add too.
So many bugs in current version. Back up service style by dev not suitable to assist a remedy. Old version way better. New version is too busy and controls are scattered all over the opening page seemingly in a random way. Clean up all the extras and go back to the basics.
Type App managed to configure my email on my phone when my phone app stopped sending emails and then wouldn't configure again. My only slight criticism would be that it's very easy to delete an email when you want to mark it as unread if you swipe left too sharply.
This is the only app that i found that handles both hotmail and gmail accounts. All of my other email addresses can be added to any app but they struggle with either gmail or hotmail. Too many settings to name and may require a lot of tweaking to get it working the way you want but has all the settings I want on a per address basis. DATA USAGE HAS GONE THROUGH THE ROOF. Seems to be redownloading every message each time the app reloads. 52MB in three days for ~25 emails (no attachments, no hi red images, etc)
Have used this for years but lately it has been next to useless. It used to notify me for both accounts but now only one of them and it randomly refuses to send emails for no apparent reason. Looking for something else now.
Great email client. Haven't had an issue with the app and I've been using it for a little over a year now. Handles my outlook, live, and Gmail accounts great.
