Tested it today, but... OK so I tested this today, it works, connects more often than not (unfortunately I still don't know why it's such a problem for these apps to connect). But even during shooting I've noticed that app needs screen to be on all the time, because it will forget to trigger the shutter. So I ended up with inconsistent timelapses. Also, is there a way for to shoot RAW ?
Almost great So far it is Very reliable. Unfortunately it is not possible to interrupt the app. The stop button won't work and after forcefully disconnecting the app by closing wifi or turning off camera the app is still claiming connection with camera is running. Using some a6000
Took a while to connect but once connected, SSG S4 recognized my Sony A6000. Reset to snap every 5 secs for a total of 20 pixs. Looking later it gave me the still pixs BUT not the movie I expected
Does what it says Does it well, and keeps improving. And comes at the unbeatable price of FREE
A5100 Doesn't work
Fixed a bug. When the phone turns off screen the UI updates did not work anymore. In worst case if phone turns the screen before camera was connected the connection could not be established without restarting the app.
Known deficiency of this version is that the last frame in a timelapse sequence is not shown.
Take/Run at least four times as many photos/long compared to the alternative.
