This thing is fantastic. I use an OTG-USB cable to get raw images directly from my DSLR and it even recognizes my most used lens and automatically corrects for optical distortions. It took me mere minutes to decide to get the paid version and as far as I'm concerned, it's worth every penny when I can't get to my desk and Raw Therapee. And just like RT, the raw engine here is dcraw so if you want the good stuff, it's baked in with three options for demosaicing and even saving 16-bit TIFFs if that's your pleasure. The online help documentation is clear and concise without being too concise. This is a must-have app if you are serious about raw editing. Visit the website to see everything I left out, layers for example.
I bought this as v 3.2. broke after an upgrade. Crashes every time I click Develop. Want my money back. I've since discovered Darktable which is FOSS. Don't waste your money.
I used to like this app to view my DNG files during trips. Now it crashes frequently and/or takes forever to load (often both). Sad to see a promising App fall apart like that.
Im going to give you 5 stars to support android development but you know what you did.
Great app for editing raw photos
Best raw app I've found-Good for rating photos on the go; fast performance, good filtering and export options. Catches (Dec '17) crashed frequently, no histogram in review mode, moving files (even on same card) takes minutes not seconds.
- Bugfix that exporting of multiple image failed
- Performance improvements camera import
- Free version available now!
- Free version has no watermarking
