Gets the job done behind the scene and lots of settings available to tune sync schedule and conditions. Using it to sync my pictures on device instead of letting Google Photo to sync, which doesn't handle deleted files on device after initial sync, which causes problem with keeping stuff in sync on both the device and cloud storage. Also shows available storage in app, so don't have to go to Google drive to find out.
Sometimes syncs one file at a time. Most of the time syncs nothing at all even though there is new stuff to sync. Maybe it is something to do with Marshmallow as it worked a lot better before I got my S7. Have now uninstalled it as it just does not do what it is supposed to do. Tried it again after several releases and to no avail could I get it to sync automatically so uninstalled again Not good
I was wondering why is sync time elapsed given in seconds only? Surely it would make sense to show this in seconds only for tine elapsed shorter than a minute and for longer operations in both minutes and seconds!
So far, it's great. I'm using it to sync my Caustic 3 presets across my phone and my tablet so I can alter audio projects on both ends without worrying about whether or not I have the correct presets. In the future I will probably use it for other things, too.
This app supports md5sum right? Go to adb shell and touch a file. Firstly, drivesync can't detect automatically that anything has changed. But then when I manually refresh from app.. It uploads the touched file. Md5 sum hashing seems not working! Please comment or fix.
Worked great for a while. All of the sudden when I pressed sync it decided to get rid of the new work I just did on device one and replace it with the outdated stuff on device two. So it's wonderful when it works or if you like having an uncertainty about if the app is screwing you over or not. Use with caution.
