This app is an automatic file sync and backup tool. It lets you automatically synchronize files and folders with Google Drive cloud storage and with your other devices. It is an ideal tool for photo sync, document and file backup, automatic file transfer, automatic file sharing between devices,...

New files in your cloud account are automatically downloaded onto your device. New files in your device are uploaded. If you delete a file on one side, it will be deleted on the other side. It works across multiple devices (your phone and your tablet). If their folders are synced with the same cloud account, they will be kept in sync with each other.

This is how Google Drive works on computers but not on Android. Two-way automatic synchronization should be an essential function of the official app. For whatever reason, it is not the case. Autosync for Google Drive is here to fill the gap.

All file transfers and communications between user devices and cloud storage servers are securely encrypted and do not go through our servers. No outsiders will be able to decrypt, see or modify any file contents.

Ratings and reviews

Initially I thought the app was making mistakes by duplicating files but it doesn't do that. OneDrive is better. It's not this app that's doing it and it's not the app that's causing thing is to slow down and stop. It is Google drive itself that is causing these problems. I shut off my Google Drive and unsubscribe from it and then subscribe to high storage limit with OneDrive and I do get duplicates. This app works great is Google drive itself that lacks performance.

I cannot make my phone sync pictures directly to Drive, and so I am using Autosync. It treats pictures like files, which I like. I have had trouble with battery optimization settings, but resolved that after reading the instructions. I really reliable app that I usually don't have to think about.

As a creative professional, I can't stress how much this app has helped me become more organized and work more efficiently. I used to hook up my phone or camera to send files to my PC, and the process was cumbersome, time consuming, and inconvenient. I never had the files available when I needed them. Now I just take my reference photos, record a video or audio clip, and this app sends them to my Gdrive which I have synced with my workstation in the studio. It's freaking awesome!
