I wish I could select which apps to install on my truck. I don't really like Pandora, I prefer Spotify,. IHeartRadio is unknown to me. Movie tickets is silly, same for OpenTable. Dont think I need that on my truck. Yelp is good. I would install it if I could choose which of these sub-apps I wish to have in my menu screen. Toyota is a great Auto Engineering firm, but Software Engineering is definitely not their forté! Also, the green good reviews are for old versions of this software. Not the current one. Toyota needs to work on the apps for this system.
It never understands what I'm saying even when I'm reading word for word from the suggested commands. The navigation is the worst even when I'm typing in the address, it can't find it. I just use Google Maps. Then, when I arrive at a destination that I will need to find again, I program it to remember the location I'm at. The only way TOYOTA Navigation can find anything is when you're already there. Pandora never works unless I turn off my phone and then Let it go through the restart process inside the car.
Lack of voice to text makes me regret buying a Toyota Prius. It's just frustrating to hear a text and be unable to reply except for stupid quick responses, which I never use. Why not assimilate more with Android and the Google voice to text (which works very well). Your fancy features and display suck now.
When I turn off my car, Pandora starts blaring on my phone, and it will not let me turn it off or volume it down without resarting my phone. Each time I restart my car I need to restart my phone to have Pandora start playing... if I make 6 quick stops between home and work I need to restart my phone 6 times to listen to music. The phone connects as it should, I can make and receive call, texts and emails, but Pandora logo just spins and No music comes out unless I restart the phone.
Absolute crap. Let us route voice control to Google Now and get rid of this preinstalled idiot who doesn't understand anything I say or interact with any apps I use. Complete trash. Completely ruins the "infotainment" system in my car. 0 stars
I keep trying to give this app chance after chance and it has yet to tell me the VIN is valid for the vehicle that I purchased from a Toyota dealership. Every time I enter the VIN it tells me it is invalid and tells me to try again. I'm not entering anything in wrong because I check, double check, and triple check. The app hasn't worked for me at all. I had high hopes for it, yet it disappoints me time after time.
