It never understands what I'm saying even when I'm reading word for word from the suggested commands. The navigation is the worst even when I'm typing in the address, it can't find it. I just use Google Maps. Then, when I arrive at a destination that I will need to find again, I program it to remember the location I'm at. The only way TOYOTA Navigation can find anything is when you're already there. Pandora never works unless I turn off my phone and then Let it go through the restart process inside the car.
Absolute crap. Let us route voice control to Google Now and get rid of this preinstalled idiot who doesn't understand anything I say or interact with any apps I use. Complete trash. Completely ruins the "infotainment" system in my car. 0 stars
I keep trying to give this app chance after chance and it has yet to tell me the VIN is valid for the vehicle that I purchased from a Toyota dealership. Every time I enter the VIN it tells me it is invalid and tells me to try again. I'm not entering anything in wrong because I check, double check, and triple check. The app hasn't worked for me at all. I had high hopes for it, yet it disappoints me time after time.
I hate everything about this app, down to it's very existence. I hate it so much that I will never buy another Toyota as long as it exists! I constantly have weird problems with it not connecting, not starting or not stopping... Toyota needs to learn to use industry standard communication protocols instead of trying to invent their own! My Chevy NEVER has issues like this, plus it supports Android Auto AND Apple Carplay!
It used to work all the time, after the last two updates it has stopped working. I used to just turn the Bluetooth on my phone on and the magic would happen on its own. Now I have to connect, disconnect, connect again, disconnect, restart my phone, restart the car, get out of the car and spin in a circle while singing "I'm a little teapot" and pray to the gods for the app to work. Sometimes, even sacrifice a goat.
Works almost perfectly in my 2013 Camry with my Note 4. Only 1 minor problem, not all my Pandora channels load sometimes. Phone connects immediately without any issues and works great! Don't know about the newer cars but I see people having issues with the navigation system, I didn't think it was part of the entune app but was part if the Sirius XM Satellite and navigation package. I have no issues with it at all. Great app and car!
