Good, but could be great. Good little time waster. It would be sweet if there was some variation in the gameplay though. You are theoretically adding a crew member every time you rescue someone, it would be cool if you could, say, allocate every tenth person to a specific function. I.e. this person is going to be in the crowsnest, so you get an advance indicator of where the next person will be. Or sailor: hit down to briefly slow your ship. Some sense of progression to incentivise playing past just high scores.
Some people are unbelievable.... The game hasn't even been out for 24 hours and someone rated it two-stars because it's "too simple..." There are no bugs and there's nothing wrong at all. Of course new things should be added but rating it two stars because it's not that in-depth?
Fun but needs to be harder. I think the game is a lot of fun but needs to start out at a higher difficulty. It takes too long for me to feel like I'm being challenged. This is subjective so I'm giving it five stars because it's a great and well executed game.
This game is the $#&% ! I love this game. It saved my life. I was on the brink of despair and about to crash my boat into some rocks...then I found this game. It taught me that saving random people floating in the ocean is better than crashing my boat into a rock.
The missing Final Fantasy side game. Seriously gives me FF1 flashbacks, which is awesome and a bit disturbing. Simple and addicting, not as easy as it first seems. Kudos to the developers for creating such a nostalgia inducing 8 bit.
