Bad Experience and Poor Use of Student Fees This is one of my least favorite apps to use. I first downloaded this app while I was still in high school and nothing has changed or been beneficial to me as a student. The user experience is still very premature and does not match design principles for android apps. Using the school website on your phone is easier and highly recommended as an alternate.
Out of date This app is pretty but it looks like it hasn't been updated since 2012. It has a button that looks up the 2012 fall schedule.
Waste of Student Fees This app is incredibly out of date. Beyond that it looks like most of the features are geared towards future students not at DSU. Where are links to Banner and Canvas? Please pull this from the app store or completely redo it for your own sakes.
Mostly web-based. Great student resource! Looks solid, and the visual elements are beautiful. I'm just curious as to why the app is so large. 9.5MB for something that is so relient on cloud-based content is very large. Facebook's app isn't even that big. However, moving it to the SD card makes it not as taxing on system memory. Nice to see Dixie with some web presence! Still some bugs but what can you expect a week after launch.
Good potential. Needs work Layout and interface are pretty good. Looks like it's got some good features. Nice mix of Useful (campus map, "checklist", admissions etc.) and useless but fun (twitter, pics, videos etc.) However it crashes My phone every time I run it. A couple bug fixes and keep working on useful features (maybe tie into Blackboard?) and we'll have a solid little app. Cole Hulse DROID X Gingerbread
Nice so far Great app.. I'm glad to see dixie venturing out with technology. Future update should include dmail access.
