Ratings and reviews

Absolutely unreliable app. We almost missed our flight at 9 AM on a Friday because Uber could not find a single driver for 35 minutes. For the record, we live in downtown Chicago. We also were stranded after a concert in Glendale for 4 hours in the middle of the night. We were getting rates of $120+ dollars for a 30 minute drive. Very expensive, but we had no options. Even after requesting a ride at that absurd price, we were still stranded for 4 hours after a major concert. Totally unreliable.

App doesn't reflect problems with drivers, that try to add a extra trip, for a 3 minute stop, on the way. Some want to charge for a whole nother trip, and there's no way to complain, or phone number to call. Another, are no pickups, because the driver cancels trips, no more than 1 minute away from destination, which you get another driver, do you have to pay a no pickup fee. What's up with extra stop? Why do you confirm first? Backwards! Get voice ai, like everyone else! Cancling trips too

The app seems very inconsistent in performance. Not sure if it is because of updates or new releases behind the scenes but constantly asking me to accept terms of use, over and over again. Also reserved rides have more than once not shown up for the appointment, like the driver that was reserved never got a notice about it. Cancellation of a ride that never shows up needs to be more straightforward and better explained and supported in documentation.
