Overall useful. But the delivery fee can change from the moment that you select the restaurant to the checkout time. This can mean that in the five minutes that it took you to pick out your food the delivery fee can go up from $5 to $20. Be careful that you don't miss this because they won't make it right. You may have to restart your order at a different restaurant, but at least you won't be stuck with the 400% last minute fee increase. Also, the app apparently doesn't make notes very visible to the drivers (several drivers didn't see the note for how to get to the house).
Ubereats is convienant for when your stuck at work and cant sneak away for lunch or when you get home after a long day. There have been mess ups on orders but if ypu contact customer support they are then happy to find a solution. Only down side is more selection in my area.
My order was cancelled by the driver, then when I went to reorder my items doubled as a glitch in the app and I had to pay twice the amount. Tried to cancel but they told me If I cancelled I would still have to pay the full total! Customer service refuses to refund me and has stopped answering my emails. Horrible lack of professionalism and shady business practices. I shouldn't have to pay for the apps mistake!
Lots of the menus don't work properly and, since it's overly automated, the stuff you write underneath just gets ignored half the time. Driver have to do lots of deliveries in a short time to make money so it's a crapshoot whether or not you get warm food. Postmates is slightly more expensive but much less inconsistent

I've been trying to submit a complaint from the app but the submit button is greyed out and won't work. My orders are getting canceled. I'm paying via paytm and whenever I checkout order will get through and after sometime it'll be automatically get canceled. It has happened twice in a row, I was about to give your app 5 star as it asked but it'll be 1 star till this problem has been fixed.
