I'm giving UberEats 2 stars because every time I order from the app and receive my food, there's always something missing from my order such as a drink or side that I paid for. It's honestly happened to me at least 5 times. I think the idea of a delivery service such as UberEats is great, but not if the customer is always getting ripped off. I certainly wouldn't recommend the app to anyone.
Rout after installation, some places won't even allow me to add to cart. I made sure to test with a later date in case it was an issue with the restaurant opening, but that was not it. The item selection will show a +/x/- section but no add to cart and the plus minus section isn't usable. Very odd. Hopefully they fix the bugs sometime soon.
Needs function improvements. There is no confirmation button. So I ended up ordering double without realising becuz there is no review or confirm option. So be careful with that especially I can't contact the restaurant to cancel one of my order. There should be a review your order option before u confirm to make sure address is correct with proper instructions.
After having trouble with Uber canceling orders I had gone to doordash, doordash has now caused many problems for me so I am back to Uber and this last order went perfectly. I got the items I wanted, my driver was punctual and polite and the app was very easy to use and allowed me to track my order and I also appreciate the fact that they allow you to tip after the driver has delivered the food so that you can tip based on performance. Very pleased with the changes that have been made.
Worst app I've ever used. Ordered food 10 min away, they gave me a 10 minute wait. After 45 minutes I called and they said their driver was picking up the food and they couldn't refund it. Went outside at the estimated time and waited 5 extra minutes just to get a message that the order was cancelled. Called back to confirm I was not charged. Will never use or recommend uber eats ever!!!
Been very pleased with the app and selection so far. Occational problems with missing items or longer then quoted times but minor issues and really don't know if it is the restaurant or the service that creates the issues. Also my over all satisfaction is getting better as the app gets more variety and more efficient. I would recommend trying it out.
