I am in love. Great first experience. This is going to cause me to be a hermit and never leave the house other than for work. In fact, I can just use this to order lunch at work instead of bringing the same thing from home everyday. It's convenient, easy to use, and super affordable. I recommend to anyone who doesn't want to pick up the phone and talk to another human.

This app sucks. They just started operations in Mumbai and I have gotten three reorders wrong already. The first one was a double charge issue because it seems uber eats and uber the transport app are linked so if you have one outstanding charge it charges you for that instead. The se odn time there was a broken plastic spoon in the food. I got my money refunded. The third time the driver cancelled the order. They didn't inform me. And they kept the money. What is that about. On the whole swiggy is way better and Zomato isn't half bad

Ordered expensive pizzas from a nice place on 1st order. Looks like the delivery guy dropped the boxes. Toppings had all slid off the pizza and bunched up at the back of the box. $50 order ruined. Made a complaint and they offered me $10 off my next meal. Pretty surprising customer service for a ruined meal. Won't be using again
My first time ordering, my order was canceled because the restaurant ran out of chicharones de pollo but they still charged me. Everyone else seems to have a good experience with it though so I'll give it another try.

They dont deliver all of the food. Get the order wrong. Then the solution is to call the driver. How about get someone to deliver the food? Or refund the order? Not just have me replace the order and get another delivery charge. DONT USE RIP OFF

The app is wonderful. My favourite actually. However I am not very happy with the map. The address is almost always incorrectly shown on the delivery side making it difficult for people to deliver. On my side the location is just fine. And we are centrally located too.

There should be a DEFINITE way to review uber drivers and the food. Sometimes it shows up, more than often not. Review should be available on demand. Food reviews should be shown upon choosing to order as well. A la GH.
Attempted to use a mcdonalds coupon and it didn't apply to order then disappeared completely. Didn't take $10 off order so gave up and never using uber eats again; pizza delivery is far more reliable than Uber.
Wish some restaurants had greater delivery ranges. Sometimes feel excluded in not being able to order at places just because of my location is a suburb too far away. But other than that great app. Great service.
It would be awesome if all of the only 4 restraunts available in my area weren't ALWAYS unavailable. Annoying , why bother even saying you deliver out here if nothing is ever available?
Love this app I'm telling people about it all the time. It's so very convenient. Having issues with changing the delivery address lately. Was going to use it at work recently, but it kept defaulting to the last delivery address. Please fix.
The app allows you to schedule deliveries when the restaurant is closed, accepts the order but doesn't tell you the order can't be fulfilled. This is just bad app design. Never using Uber eats again. Food panda has worked great.
This has to be the worse delivery service. I have attempted to use this app numerous times and yet the order is ALWAYS wrong. I hoped maybe it was a fluke or just the resturants but nope. There is no accountability. Instead of going back for food, they want you to reorder, repay, (retip as well) and wait for a refund to come in. Will not be patronizing this place again.
They charge 11 dollar for busy area. The food price is 15 dollar. Plus delivery fee. Thats fine. Driver calls me and yells at me to come down to get the food. UBER PLEASE USE YOUR INVESTMENTS TO TRAIN YOUR COURIER. !
I got a call from the restaurant i ordered from saying my order was delivered to the wrong address. Uber should definitely employ drivers that knows their numbers. My very first order and never got it. I suppose menulog will do.
There's no number to contact Uber eats on if your order is incorrect or missing! You have to wait 48 hours for a response! WARNING! Use other food delivery apps instead!
Good until you have a problem. Customer care line is out of India or something...you can't understand them and they can't credit orders. They tell you to send response through the app, which I did and they didn't do anything to resolve the concern either. I'm sorry but when your eta is off by an hour and the food shows up cold, that requires action.
Great App. Little pricey. I'm based in Midrand, I like to order from the Fish and Chips at boulders mall. I really think it's ridiculous how I am forced to buy a drink when ordering anything from that store. Please fix this, it's small little glitches like this that ruin the user experience.
I cannot change my details at all as I somehow put in the incorrect email which is now going to someone else. Also forcing the user to put in banking details first where I can also not delete this info is also going to allow this user to commit fraud on my account. This is nothing but utter stupidity on your part and I want this fixed asap. Your website offers no oterh way to change this info. Pathetic! I would advise anyone whom is going to use this service not to use it unless these issues have been address es like other delivery outlets have.
Ordered from this app a few times. Most experiences have been positive. Only 1 mess up where I was given the wrong order? No receipt? Proceeded to solve issue on the app and no one gets back to me for giving me the wrong food and drink. The app needs better resolving strategies
Scheduled an order a few hours prior for my lunch break, called customer support and they told me that the restaurant no longer dealt with uber eats. Was told that there was nothing they can do, no compensations and just had to go with no food on my lunch. Awful service, stick with deliveroo
They messed up my order twice. I waited 90mins for food. Called customer service twice not able to sort this out or give compensation or pay for their mistake. I will not be using Uber Eats again. Suggest you try deliveroo instead
I'm not happy it won't let me see whether the service is available in my area without signing up, but I signed up and entered my address and it gave the error "unauthorized". It logged me out and wouldn't let me enter login information again. So I still don't know if it's available here. It may have given the error because I didn't reenter a credit card but I am not going to enter my cc info until I know if I can even use the service. Since I already use Postmates and Grub Hub I definitely don't need this service, so I'll leave my curiosity as is. Uninstalling.
Very convient, easy to use, trying places that I wouldn't normally go to. Only thing I don't like is the $5 booking fee...makes inexpensive meals expensive.
The app itself works fine however the service falls short of meeting the basic expectations. Between employees at participating restaurants and the drivers who obviously don't check the order before leaving I'm usually left unsatisfied with my orders as they typically are missing items. Not sure what kind of training the drivers get but I would assume checking the order would be one of the only really critical responsibilities they have.
It's just a badly designed app. It asks for updates ask the time and doesn't let you use the app if you don't run them. The app either doesn't send my delivery instructions half the time or puts them somewhere the driver can't find them (either way, poor software). The customer service is terrible. I've waited for hours multiple times only to have my food never delivered. I've had food arrive half consumed. I've had food arrive spilled. I got no coupon, no replacement meal, nothing for any of these. This app is a great idea and it's awesome when it works. But this app seems to be about a year and a half away from being ready and the customer service needs a fundamental rework.
Worked perfectly the first time I used it. Now I'm having issues with payment. Keep getting an error message. Won't even allow me to remove the card and try to reinstall it. Again I get an error message. Please fix this issues. I really enjoyed using it the first and only time I've gotten a chance to... thanks in advance!
Low variety of restaurants and no fast food. Very expensive and cost more to use this app than to just pay delivery to the restaurant itself. Door dash is better. -Sacramento CA
Customer Service seems clueless, unable to add my apartment number to the app and they can't figure out how to help me. Now they're saying I have the wrong app. I have this app.. It's how I contacted them in the first place. Derps. Rating well improve when their service does.
Great selection however the drivers have a difficult time with the actual delivery since I live in an apartment building. It generally turns into a 5min phone call trying to explain how to get in - the instructions are in the delivery instructions, I'm not sure if they're not very visible to the drivers?
The app itself is okay. Uber customer service is terrible. I've had them lie to me multiple times. An example is when I call because the app has said the driver is on his way (the place is 10 minute drive away and my building is a secure building so I have to meet them in the lobby) I call customer service to ask why it's not changing status and the drivers not moving. They tell me they are in fact on their way and I tell them I'm going down to meet them then. The representative tells me not to go down, and I ask them why since they're on their way and they keep saying yes they are blah blah so I point blank ask them if they're lying to me and they say no and just to go down. I get to my lobby and the driver calls me saying they're on their way to pickup the food. Needless to say I'm furious at this point especially because it's been over an hour. I call back and deal with customer service again who offers me $5 off the order which has not arrived after 1.5 hours... not impressed. Got my food it was good, I don't blame the place that sold the food as it was awesome but terrible customer service.
Ubereats overall is a great service. ETA for deliveries is generally pretty accurate. The last 2 times, ive ordered, the food has taken much longer to arrive than the app estimates. The app will give you a general ETA for each restaurant before you even start an order. Once you submit your order, itll provide a more specific ETA (which is typically very accurate). I generally consider the initial ETA before picking a restaurant and use it as a guide. It can be frustrating when the ETA jumps up significantly after you spend time selecting items and submitting your order. In my most recent experience, the ETA kept moving back after i placed my order. It would fluctuate up to 10 min (up and down)....Stuck in the "preparing food stage" for roughly 20-30 min....Ive dined in at this particular restaurant. It doesnt take nearly this long to prepare food. You can literally walk up and order your food and have it in under 3 minutes (its a bbq place that has pretty much everything premade). Just a matter of picking specific items from the menu.
The drivers never know where my apartment is. Also, out of the 3 times I've tried to use this app the wait says 15-25 min i endes up waiting over an hour both times. Although the staff is friendly.
Completely unreliable. I used the service about 8 times before I finally gave up. My food was never delivered within a reasonable time & always arrived cold...and I ordered from restaurants that were within 2miles from me! Sometimes it's the restaurants, sometimes its the courier, either way it's not worth it & I'm not going to keep paying Uber a service charge to deliver cold inedible food.
This is a review of my first time using Uber eats! Last week i had just got home from a day out with my family and couldnt be bothered to go into town to get somthing to eat. However i spoke to my friend and he recommended Uber eats, he told me that yoy couod get up to Β£10 off your first order...i couldnt say no to a deal like that, so i ordered 2 pizzas from ICCO and a map came up..the map told me it would take 25-3
I ordered some food of course. First it took double the amount of time, second the driver drove past me and myself twice, third by the time I received my food it was COLD and THEY FORGOT MY SODA. Lastly I called the customer service line and I told them I didn't have my soda they gave me a refund and said "IF I WANTED A SODA I WOULD HAVE TO RESUBMIT MY ORDER FOR A SODA and it will all be free" I told her I didn't want to because by the time I would get it my food will be cold. Then i had to go back and forth for my refund of $1.06 from them for my forgotten soda. This was my first time use, and I will NEVER EVER USE UBER EATS AGAIN!!!! Bad first experience
Usually works great, but I have had an order where the delivery time estimate kept getting pushed back and upon calling customer service, they notified me that the order will not be fulfilled.
I have had several issues with using this app and they make it extremely difficult to get your refund or replacement order. I recommend using yelp eats24. Way better service.
I really like this app. The food some when expected, or sooner. If there were more restaurant choices I'd give it 5 stars. New ones do show up every now and then so I think that will improve.
This app has ruined my life. I've stopped cooking at home. I no longer have any savings. My paychecks have disappeared as soon as I've got them.
