For the most part it's very helpful and easy to use. I have encountered several mistakes with the correct items being delivered, although that's probably the fault of the restaurant. A couple of times the Uber delivery guys were opposed to actually delivering to my door. Also, the store hours/days are not always up to date which leads to an order being placed only to find out 20 minutes later that it can't be processed. Overall though 4/5!
Ordered two times. One time order was delayed by an hour and one time no delivery at all. We resort to online food ordering for late night orders, it can not even tell us that order will be delayed. Wait and wait and wait and wait then call the Restaurant (from google maps) they even dont provide contact number of delivery person or restaurant. Horrible experiebce both times.
Ordered twice so far, and it's been really good. Well, the food wasn't that great from the first place, but the delivery time was really good and the people were nice. It's a really convenient app to have when you just can't leave a place. Was at a hospital with family for awhile and it was good to have one less thing to worry about. Could order food for everyone and we didn't have to worry about leaving ☺
I have tried order three times through Uber eats in Singapore. However, two times they overshoot the estimated time (i waited 1.5hrs) and after contacting the customer support i found out it was because they couldn't find a driver however the food had been ready for a long time. Even after that they didn't have the curtsey to call or cancel the order and keep shooting the time limit. I had to ultimately call them and cancel the order. The third time, the order was on time but half of my order was missing and not there. I trusted Uber eats because of the brand name but I was very disappointed. I have used other food delivery apps with great ease. It has a long way to figure out its food delivery strategies.
I ordered a waffle dessert.the waffle was completely spoilt by the time it was delivered. reached in normal temperature, lost it taste and completely melted. could not eat it. completely disappointed. will not order from this app again. further some one called from the restaurant and informed that your delivery would be late and it would be spoiled and please accept it. what kind of service it is??? doing the payment before is the mistake done by me. very bad attitude by the restraunt person and delivery team. unprofessional. Was not expecting this . if it was the case that you thought it would be damaged you would have cancelled the order and refunded. forcing the spoilt food because payment already made. will never order again
The idea is cool and the concept is great, but the booking fee is a bit high when grubhub restaurants/deliveries have a lower or no booking "delivery" fee. It was cool going through until I got to checkout and saw the delivery fee. It also seems like no matter how simple the delivery instruction is, it is ignored by the driver.
Users can pre-schedule orders
