Used to be able to get mcdelivery and now it's forcing me to use Uber eats which won't bring it to me because I live 2km away and they won't bring it further than 1.7km. Mcdelivery previously brought it 5km. Uber eats sucks, you screwed me out of dinner you hopeless bastards
I have generally had a good experience with Uber, and decided to use Uber eats for the first time. Long story short, I am very upset with this service. I just placed an order that provided an estimated amount, and then went to the next page and it automatically tacked on an extra fee and submitted the order without any additional consent. Interestingly, it also didn't ask me to confirm my address, so this mysteriously charged order is going somewhere I'm not really sure of. Very displeased with service, and my emails and customer support inquiries have so far gone unanswered .
this app is trash. if you are waiting one hour on a 15 minute order, that is inexcusable. especially with no corrospendance. customer service and notification is despicably sparse. i would sue them for false advertising and breach of whatever contracutal promise if i cared about 20 bucks. trash app. use doordash or chownow. grubhub. anything else
1. Other food apps tell you when a store is about to close- eats just crashes and wont let you order anything without explaining why, then crashes when you try to order from somewhere else. 2. When a driver picks up 2 orders from the same restaurant he should deliver to the closest house first. Instead of watching him drive 20 minutes out of the way for some other person, when I live 5 minutes away in the direct path to the next house... not rocket science. Also, The help menu is beyond useless.
Rasheed (lic plate BZTN688) called me after I hailed a ride and asked my friend what the gender and destination of the rider was. He then drove around for 45 minutes before arriving (by which point we had obviously chosen a different method of getting home). Uber charged a cancellation fee, and their customer service rep Prince confirmed that despite the driver's behaviour, it is policy to charge the rider. Drivers who ask questions like that and who then drive far from the rider before meandering back should be blocked not rewarded. Uber is now obviously unsafe to use.
Fell over at the first hurdle - I couldn't even ended a delivery date. I'm on a Samsung Galaxy S8 - hardly an outdated phone that you'd have issues on. This needs more thorough QA.
