It's a great concept but customer service can be terrible. Uber needs to create a system where drivers are automatically paired with customers that speak the same language. I have had countless amounts of times where I have not been able to get my food on time due to the fact that the driver does not speak English. This has caused my food to be delayed by up to an hour at a time. This needs to be fixed!
Customer service is ignorant! Not helpful and wanted me to reorder and pay a second time for my order THEN THEY'D REFUND MY MONEY?! I wouldn't waste your time or money, if you can pick it up yourself.
I gave Uber eats chance after chance and I've found it to be unreliable. The first 3 orders had items missing, and the 4th (which will be my last) order took way longer than the initially provided ETA.
2 orders including milkshake on orders raised . Coke delivered both times. I don't want coke as I ordered milkshake. Driver tells me to call uber. He explains the phone number on app? I can't see phone number. Fed up of making a order and wondering what will be delivered. Not acceptable. Only reason I order mc Donald is for milkshake. So disappointed.
The idea is great! And the app works well enough. The problem I run into is that they don't offer many options around me, and my drivers never seem to be able to find my place. Most of the time I end up having to go out and meet them if I don't want cold food.
Getting in people to download the app by telling us that you charge only 1re for delivery is totally not cool. What's the point when you've increased the prices of the food items on the menu of the respective restaurants anyway? For example I wanted to order from red box and I saw the rates of the veg momos was 105 which is 10 rupees more than the normal charges. Totally disappointed, uninstalled the app.
