First time ordering and didn't even get half of my order. There isn't even a way to rate and when I go to "past orders" it's empty. I need to wait 24 hours for a response from uber, but in the mean time I'm hungry and trying to study for finals. I either have to go without eating tonight, or give up study time and my grades. Ridiculous.
The app is extremely buggy. You have very little opportunity to cancel the order. Maybe 5 seconds at most. I placed an order once before the restaurant closed. By the time I got sick of waiting, the restaurant had closed. The app informed me the delivery could no longer be made, but my credit card was still charged. Thanks for being unreliable and taking my money. Never again.
I've been using Uber for approx 2 months now. I Only had one tiny problem where my food arrived cold. But the driver politely warned me about the possibility explained that McDonald's was extremely busy and traffic was horrible before handing me my food. This I appreciated because I knew what to expect. I think Uber Eats is awesome, User friendly, very efficient and very useful when hunger strikes, especially during working hours. Thank you for such a awesome app.
It was working perfectly and spent several hundreds of euros using the service with full satisfaction. For some reason, they decided my area will not be delivered during peak days/hours which seems to occur 24/7! I'm unable to order to any of my favourite restaurants I was ordering since several months. Offer a great service is cool but degrading it is so frustrating...
Storing address is very in-accurate. We cannot manually place the marker on the map to give correct addresses (GPS shows slightly different location), like in Swiggy. This hinders the overall process, and delivery boy finds it difficult to reach the exact location. Multiple communication rounds required.
I placed an order for dinner one night, with an estimated delivery time of 30 minutes. Long story short, order was delayed 1.5 hours. I called Ubereats 3 times and was assured each time the order was on its way (with each person contradicting the person before). They ended up just cancelling my order after 1.5 hours. I spoke to customer service and got a refund but zero compensation for not being able to eat for 1.5 hours and having my time wasted. Basically a company with zero accountability
