This is awesome. I spend a lot of time in the hospital and everyone knows hospital food is disgusting. This app allows me to eat at some of my favorite places while discovering new ones. And I have not yet had a problem that the company has not fixed. I think I order from this place almost every day in the hospital. And sometimes a couple of times a day. LOL
Tried Uber once and the driver got lost. Even though I ended up having to call a cab, I got charged $5. Three times. Now I am trying Ubereats for the first time and the driver shows up carrying my pizza under his arm like a book. I open the box in front of him and the pie has slid down to form a ball in the corner of the box. The driver took the pizza and drove away. When I tried to report it to Uber, there is no way for me to submit a complaint or get my money back. That's stealing.
Love this app! None of the restaurants near us deliver to our house. And we've used various delivery services, but so far Uber Eats is our favorite. Our only complaint is that there is no way to add a tip. In this day and age, most of us don't carry cash, so the option would be nice.
Delivery used to be free, now 3 bucks, or even 6 bucks during peak hours. Delivery is totally not prioritised. There was once I ordered together with my friend for the same store on 2 different devices, with me submitting my order first. Guess what? Both orders were prepared but mine came last, and turned out my soup that was ordered turned cold. Also, referral incentives was reduced to $5, which probably can't even cover a delivery fee nowadays. Guess other competitors is soon gonna outshine Uber...
First time using the app is likely the last time. Original ETA was 1.30pm (forty minutes after order time) but this slowly crept up to 2.05pm. By the time I got my order, the food was lukewarm and so was the drink. Didn't bother finishing the meal. Would have been better to just go and get it myself.
Awesome app this is! Online ordering made simple with local restaurant menus & pricing right there. They even give you an estimated delivery window. The only downfall is it's not yet available where I live...
Users can pre-schedule orders
