Good app. One thing needs to be done that after enrollment for any course you can't again see its description and other information. Please bring that description section again because I have enrolled in many courses and without seeing its description one cannot Judge which curriculum is best also I have enrolled more than 150 courses any many courses are on same subject but by different instructors so please bring filter options like best selling, students enrolled to identify the best one
Udemy is great for learning, I would however advise everyone to always go through the curriculum of every course before purchasing because sometimes even a highly recommended course can exclude some important topics. There is, for example, a highly rated NodeJS course that doesn't even cover deploying your app. 4/5 because switching from the mobile app to the website and back can cause some syncing issues.
Udemy is a great source to obtain video training in various topics. I have invested in many training videos with confidence as udemy offers 30 day money back guarantee, which I have had to use on one occasion. To have the best experience, research the instructor to ensure you get quality and accurate information. That being said in regards to this app, it is very taxing on battery consumption, even when not in use. I would like an option to disable video completely and listen to audio, as this is my day at work. A suggestion could be; it would be nice if I could connect with other users commenting on their progress on courses and see what they are enrolled in. I believe this would increase usage and sales as well as encourage others to complete courses.
Awesome Features Awesome Courses. Now the Cons : It takes a lot of time to buffer videos even at 360p whereas YouTube works like a charm even at 720p. When I rotate the screen the buffering suddenly disappears and it loads the video again. Loses connection to Internet most of the times and shows not connected on my broadband WiFi connection most of the time which is weird.
Bought a course to study offline, basically impossible. Even when connected to the Internet (slow connection - hence desire for offline use) it's also almost unusable. I fought through a few of the lessons but the UI and general experience was terrible. Seeking recommendations for a better learning app? (sent support email 15/4)
