What's not to like? Sure it stalls occasionally, but it's free, it doesn't need a network connection, and it guides you around the trickiest of places. It helped me around the souk in Marrakech and that's no mean feat, I would have struggled without it!
Great...but... Its a really useful app to avoids eating away your data plan, downloading the articles is a GREAT idea (yes, with capital letters), so you can actually know something about the places you are visiting....by you can not planned your Tripp with this since it shows you everyplace nearby no.matter its real beauty or historical importance andd...doesn't work so good to move around in public transport, which is not well shown and doesn't show you near to which bustop or trains top the place is (clear?)loved it
Good app. Helped while in Paris without cell data. Couldn't find a lot of restaurants or shops in the app, but by searching online in the apartment and manually favoriting the address, we were able to get by. Only complaint is that if you minimize the app and reopen it takes time to load and also frequently crashes if it hasn't been opened recently upon reopening.
Works great I have been using it in Italy (Rome & Venice) for a few days with NO DATA or Wi-Fi and it's great. Being able to search works great and I love that you can click anywhere and save custom-named locations. The only thing lacking is it doesn't seem to have many or any restaurants saved, but those open and go out of business so frequently, it's understandable that an offline app wouldn't choose to constantly update those.
Enhanced my Europe trip, invaluable! I love this app! Ok, I'll admit that if I had just turned on my cellular data or purchased a European cellular package, there are better "live" apps out there. But I didn't, and I relied upon WiFi & Off-line apps instead. So for me, this app was amazing! Live GPS location on a wonderfully detailed map with all offline content including all tourist (and not touristy) POIs with great descriptions & Wiki page info for most (with "large" package), ability to navigate a foreign city, and ability to mark the map
Great app, some annoyances Excellent maps. Unfortunately you'll have to download hundreds of tiny separate maps of each village if you want to visit a country. There's a nice system to tag the maps but unfortunately it tags too quickly if you just touch the map in Android. That feature seems to work better on iPhone. But overall: love the app. Couldn't go on holidays without it!
