About this app

Getta Hall Pass is the fun way to ask permission from the person who matters. Poker night, a late one with friends, a lazy Sunday, a big purchase: send a request and get a yes, a no, or a “yes, if…” straight to your phone.

HOW IT WORKS
- Pair with your partner, friend or roommate using a code or a QR scan. Both of you have to accept.
- Ask for a pass: what, when, for how long. Add a note if you need to plead your case.
- They approve, deny, or set conditions. Not happy with the terms? Reply and negotiate.
- Approved passes land in Coming up, ready to add to your calendar.

SEND A PASS
Feeling generous? Send an already-approved pass out of the blue. Make it golden for extra flair. The lucky one gets to say thanks with an emoji.

MADE FOR TWO (OR A FEW)
Pair with as many people as you like: partner, friends, roommates. Every pass goes to exactly one person, and only people you have paired with can send you anything. Decline quietly, or block, with one tap.

YOUR STUFF STAYS ON YOUR PHONE
No account, no sign-up, no profile to fill in. Your name, your people and your history live on your phone, nowhere else. Our server only holds a request until the other phone collects it, and that phone deletes it from the server on the way in. Erase everything with one button whenever you want.

ALSO
• Light and dark mode, and your pick of accent color.
• Any emoji for your avatar and for the vibe of each pass.
• Finished passes clean themselves up after 30 days.
• Notifications say only who did what. Your words never leave the two phones.

Ask nicely. Get the pass.
Ask your partner for a hall pass. Get a yes, a no, or a “yes, if…” right back.

What’s new

New: Send a reminder. If a pass you asked for goes unanswered, you can remind the other person once. The button shows up when the answer is running late.
Also: picking someone from a long list no longer hides the names behind the keyboard, and the People list no longer shows whether other people have notifications on.
