About this app

Music was meant to be experienced together and has the power to forge meaningful, everlasting relationships between humans. We believe these important emotional elements are missing when following and liking artists on our favorite social apps today. To bridge this divide, we created a place that fosters organic connection and unites artists and fans together as one. Unitea is “For Music People.” We are a community that rewards fans for their loyalty to artists. Fans earn Karma, a social currency, for listening to music, and building communities by sharing music with their friends. Karma is exchanged for real-life rewards with artists, festivals, and other fans, (i.e. Tickets, Merchandise, and Experiences such as Going on a Hot Air Balloon Ride with Claude VonStroke at a Music Festival!)


Use Unitea to:


- Stream music directly and import your custom playlists by connecting your premium Spotify account.

- Share music directly to your friends within the in-app messenger.

- Earn Karma for listening to and sharing music.

- Redeem Artist rewards for Karma.

- Create your schedule on the Festival App built into Unitea.

- Discover trending music and artists.

Ratings and reviews

I know this is a new app so here's a few bugs I've found so far. Please respond when fixed and I can edit my review. 1. Username won't save when changed in profile 2. Location search bar disappears when typing (workaround is to copy and paste directly into the box, not search for it) 3. Navigating away from the app (android) pauses my music on spotify no matter where I am listening to it from.

Riddled with bugs. Display stack issues during onboarding, app crashes, and the dumbest one: being entirely unable to set my location because the Google search results seem to cause a state trigger on the screen which collapses the results before you see them and wipes your search input. As a career mobile developer and founder of a mobile software company, it always pains me to see when apps are market rushed and under tested. Hopefully there are upcoming fixes and I can change this rating.

You guys have 2 major bugs that make the app completely unusable. Please, leave a comment on my review when these are fixed and I'll change my rating. 1. In "Edit Profile" when you tap in the Location box it bring up the Search bar "powered by Google", but when you start typing the box IMMEDIATELY disappears. And you can't save your profile without a Location! 2. The Spotify connect doesn't work. At all. Clicking the purple "Update music library" does absolutely nothing.
