On our app you can:

• add your bags, drop them at bag drop shortcut and track them along your journey 
• get real-time updates on boarding progression so you know when it's your turn to board 
• view flight updates, transfer time and gate info all in one place to feel prepared for your connection 
• see ongoing updates in your notifications tray and lock screen  
• use our built-in Terminal guide and airport maps to find your gate and navigate the airport with ease 
• watch movies, play games and pay for inflight snacks and drinks while you’re in the air 
• enroll in MileagePlus or manage your MileagePlus account and use your miles to book award travel in our app 
• use high-speed inflight Wi-Fi enabled by Starlink which is now available on select flights, free for MileagePlus members 
• talk, text or video chat with an agent if you have any questions 
• figure out your next move if your flight is delayed or canceled

Ratings and reviews

Navigating through the app is more user friendly. However it still has problems linking code share flights - if a portion of your trip is with a partner airline, the app often doesn't show the full itinerary. My biggest issue (this applies to both the website and the app) is that there is no way to share an itinerary with someone. I can email a receipt, but I can't share an itinerary without the $. There needs to be a way to share just the itinerary details without the cost of the flights.

Baggage is a constant app issue. status lets you check in early, but if you guess your bags wrong, its not possible to edit in the app and becomes a headake. negates my want to check in early befor im packed. im a tech so my bagadge weights change unexpectedly last min. they also smashed my laptop once and refused to cover it in any way. Will publicly say that forever. beware fragile items. they will take them from you and return destroyed with no accountability.

App is nigh on to useless. 80% of what I've tried to do on it nets you a spinning wheel and a please wait and eventually a we're sorry something went wrong. And that's on full strength one gigabit per second Wi-Fi. I've updated the app, restarted the phone, but it doesn't make a difference. Nothing will work on this app. About the only thing it's showing me is what my flight numbers are and when they are, anything else I try to do won't work.
