Dates of New Moons not matching up When one scrolls the animated moon forward manually to find the date of the new moon, 0% illumination refers to one date, while a one day off from that date is given when you compare that date with the date shown by method of the Next New Moon category, found up top under the three dots. That's one of the most fundamental, key ingredients of an app like this. Fix it & the app is easily a five stars.
Great moon calendar! I'm mostly happy with this app. The interface is easy to use and free of clutter. Its accurate and the animations are great. I especially like the moon widget that shows the current state of the moon, it looks awesome against galaxy background. My one pet peeve... when you zoom in on the moon to use the Atlas, you cannot move the moon up or down or left or right to view locations that may be cut off by the sides of the phone. I would recommend this app to anyone looking for a lunar calendar.
I love it So cool to have the widget on my home page and see the phases at a glance. I like the info when you click through. Stuff like the landing site of Apollo 11. Very cool. It even went all the way back to my BDay (June 8, 1950 ... gulp) to show me the moon phase on that day.
Nice little app I nicked a star for (what should be) an easy fix: in calendar mode, it would be nice to be able to enter a specific date instead of just scrolling. Gets a bit tedious trying to find the phase for an historical or future event. I purchased the full version right from the start and it's an informative, frequently used app, but I would really like to see a date search feature
Fantastic BUT....HELP!!! Is it just me on the PRO version doesn't have a widget that shows what the moon currently looks like? I can get the widget on my home screen using the free version but not the PRO.. What am I doing wrong? This is a fantastic app. I use the widget on my home screen next to my clock because I love the fact I see the amount of the moon as it would look in the sky... It's my moon clock! I can look at past events, email or text the information shown, save and dates to my calendar. Brilliant app, thank you!
I liked the free version So I got the full version to show my love. Funny thing is I had the free version for quite a while without using it much. But discovered it years later and fell in love with it. I can go back to someone's birthday or any date and see the moon phase. How cool is that! My wife was born a a new moon :-)
